The Approval Process for WASPA membership

Following an application made via the WASPA web site some initial checks are done by the info@ waspa team:

• Does the applicant meet the membership criteria?
• Does the applicant have a connection to one or more of the Network Operators?
• Has the applicant applied for the correct category of membership?

Once the above requirements have been confirmed, the application can be forwarded to the management committee by the Secretariat.

However if the applicant fails any of the checks, then the info@waspa team must seek clarification from the applicant, or inform the applicant that they do not meet the WASPA membership requirements.

Once the application has been forwarded to the management committee, the Mancom members have 48 hours to object. Should objections be forthcoming, it might be necessary to conduct a ballot.

If there are no objections within 48 hours, the application is automatically approved by the management committee.
